Dump Residents In Falmouth Protest Relocation

____________________________________________ The Falmouth Pier development has from its inception, stipulated the need for the parcel of land on Tharpe Street called ‘Dump’ as part of the project. Residents were given notices to relocate and a parcel of land on Hague Lands was allocated to place the Dump residents. The Dump land was originally illegally occupied and the squatter settlement is about to be bulldozed to make way for the Falmouth Cruise Ship Pier Development. Big Strike at the Falmouth Cruise Ship Pier as it Prepares to Welcome First Cruise Ship

There was a big industrial action on the Falmouth Cruise Ship Pier construction today as workers walked off the job in protest for better wages. The cruise ship pier development should have been in high gear this week as the first ship is due to dock in 4 days time on the 7th of January when Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas, a smaller ship with fewer guests on board is expected to berth.
